Prospective Parents 2020
We are holding two open mornings for prospective parents/carers when you are invited to come and meet the Headteacher and have a tour of our school from our Year 6 children. This is a chance to see the school during a normal school day and to ask any questions you might have about our school.
Our Open Morning Dates are:
Wednesday 13th November @ 10:30 am
Friday 29th November @ 10:30 am
Starting a new school can be an exciting and daunting time for both parents and children. We hope that the information on our website will help you to get all the information you need to help you and your child start at our school. A good place to start is by reading our Parent/Carer Handbook which contains the most important information you need as your child starts school. The calendar gives you all our upcoming dates and the latest newsletters can be found in the Noticeboard tab. In addition to this information about your child’s class can be found on the Class Pages.
One of the first things that you need to do when your child starts school is to arrive at school safely and know how to collect your child at the end of the day. Brief guidance is available in the Parent/Carer Handbook, but full details on dropping your child at school in the morning and collecting them at the end of the day is available In our Dropping and Collecting Children at School Policy, which can be downloaded from the documents section opposite.
Please note, that as at all schools parking can be a challenge. The Parking Map in the documents section shows where parents and carers are asked not to park because it is in breach of the Highway Code and puts the children at risk as they are walking into and out of school at the start and end of the day.
If you cannot find what you are looking for or have a question do please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.
