Sedlescombe Parent and Teacher Association
Welcome to our PTA Page.
The PTA has had another successful year of fundraising and on this page we want to celebrate the work of our fantastic PTA. The PTA couldn’t succeed without you and your continued support for the fundraising events that they organise.
The PTA provides essential support in providing resources, treats for the children and equipment for the school which we couldn’t afford otherwise, especially with the current cuts in funding for education.
The children at Sedlescombe Church of England Primary School are taught and encouraged to be proud of their school and the importance of volunteering and helping others. We feel that parents and teachers working together to support the school provides a positive role model for the children.
Our PTA team is very active in organising events for the children and parents. In the past year events have included our annual Christmas Fair, Summer Strawberry Fair, School Discos, Cinema Nights, Easter Egg Hunt and Masquerade Evening and Barn Dance. See upcoming events for our next PTA fundraising event or click on the links below to find out about our next events:

The PTA Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 10th July at 2:30 pm in the school hall. All parents were invited to attend and come along to support the PTA in fundraising for the children at our school. The draft minutes of the meeting can be downloaded from the link below.
In the last year the funds raised by the PTA have been used to buy four interactive whiteboards to support quality teaching for our children. The PTA also supported the makeover of the Key Stage 1 Library. We are currently fundraising for cooking equipment so that we can do more cooking in school and for new visualisers for the classrooms.
